If you noticed Rockwell is not listed in our modem chart. That is because Rockwell started a new company on December 31, 1998, and it is now known as Conexant Systems, Inc. their new web address is: http://www.conexant.com This company is now in the internet infrastructure product business.

Many of these original companies have been bought out or went out of business. Some have changed their companies line of products completely.

3Com, Aberdeen, USR, and US Robotics are all the same company with different branches.

Lucent Technologies bought Ascend and they will no longer support ascend products.

Centinial Tech was purchased by Smart  Modular Technologies a memory company.

MagicXpress is now owned by a Taiwanese company called Askey.

Milgro was bought out by TimePlex Federal who in turn is now owned by Nextira Federal.

Supra is now owned by Diamond, the same company who make the video cards.

ModemExpress now owns the domain name Hayes.com which went out of business.

What was left of Hayes is now owned by Zoom Technologies.

Boca Technologies is now also owned by Zoom Technologies.

Telebit is now owned by Frantel. Their site is a members only site and passworded.

Multiwave is out of business and now the domain name is owned by BuyDomains.com and is for sale for $6,888.00

PsionDacon domain name is owned by Dotstor domains and is for sale.

GeneralHostModems HSP is gone and now their old domain is a porn site.

EitherWorks is gone and now that site is owned by iFriends.com

PCTel.com and Pro-Nets site are gone and Wisecom is under construction.

E-Tech is no longer around and know the site belongs to someone else.

This shows us how much the business has changed in the last 10 years.  Many of these companies are no longer in the modem business. It is evident that a large quantity of these drivers are on the edge of extinction. We will be building a massive database of drivers for our site in the near future.

If you cannot locate the drivers at the sites listed above here are a few driver databases that might help in your search.
